1.25 lbs ground turkey
2 cups unsalted beef broth
2 tbsp Graza olive oil
¼ cup dry, white wine
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp cornstarch
¼ cup water
1 large onion
1 tsp thyme
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce (plus 1 tsp)
¾ cup plain panko bread crumbs
1 egg
½ tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Combine ground turkey, ½ diced onion, 1 tsp minced garlic, egg, panko, Worcestershire, thyme, and pepper in a bowl.
Form 2 inch meatballs and place on a lined pan. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a large pan, sauté remaining garlic for 30 seconds, then add onions. Cook until they are soft. Remove and transfer into crockpot.
Add meatballs, beef broth, 1 tsp of Worcestershire, and wine to the crockpot. Cook on low for 3 hours.
Once 3 hours pass, make a slurry with the cornstarch and water and add to the crockpot. Cook on high for another 10 minutes.
